Mehtab was called to the Bar in 1996, after completing the Bar course and her masters in law .Since then, she has developed a busy practice in Family law, Immigration & Human Rights law with a special focus on domestic abuse and child arrangements cases.

Alongside her practice has been  a senior lecturer at the University of law and lecturer at the inns of court school of law. She is an accredited advocacy trainer. Mehtab combines her academic and practical approach with passion and sensitivity to  deliver the best results.

Mehtab is a fluent Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi speaker and has a diverse client base.  She is a singer of Indian semi classical music and enjoys performing when she’s not in court.
